Pattaya Thailand apartments, condos, and real estate

Thailand continues to surge in economic growth month after month, alongside its other Southeast Asian neighbors such as Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. With the government of Burma a.k.a. Myanmar recently democratizing, there is new economic interest in that country as well. However, the reason why Thailand real estate continues to dominate the Southeast Asian markets is because of Thailand’s long-time relationship with foreigners, also called farangs in the Thai language. For decades, the Thai government has encouraged foreign real estate companies to invest in Pattaya, Hua Hin, Bangkok, and Phuket as tourist destinations that boost the Thailand economy and tourism while creating jobs for Thai citizens. For example, Phuket’s recent clashes with natural disasters such as tsunamis and earthquakes have resulted in mostly foreign corporations losing massive amounts of money, due to their land and property investments in that region. If we are talking about Pattaya, in the Chonburi region, then we can see massive growth in Pattaya apartments and condos such as the popular Mooks Residence Pattaya apartment and hotel building in central Pattaya. This is a great example of how land and property flipping are creating a massive economic bubble in Asia even as the real estate markets in the Western countries have crashed. This is because foreigners are mostly quite rich in Thailand, at least the ones who go around buying condos!
